This approach gives you an additional year to discover your interests within U of T Engineering while developing a strong foundation in key engineering principles. After completing your first year (i.e. achieving a minimum average of 60% in both semesters), you are guaranteed a spot in a Core 8 program of your choice in which you will complete the rest of your four-year Bachelor of Applied Science degree. Your professors will show you the connections between all the engineering disciplines so you’ll feel engaged and inspired to learn more.
